Journey of a Black Girl

Journey of a Black Girl (JOABG) is a public art exhibition presented by Atlanta Beltline’s Curator-in-Residence, Courtney Brooks, in partnership with Art on the Beltline, the south’s largest public art exhibition celebrating its 10th anniversary. JOABG opens in March 2020 and runs through April, activation will take place alongside Atlanta BeltLine’s Southside trail during Art on the Beltline in three seperate phases, each with their own installations, beginning March 2020 through April 2020. The exhibition includes two large scale murals, a community art installation, multimedia and performance art. Journey of A Black Girl is dedicated to the numerous unsolved and underreported missing black women and girls. We are channeling all this energy into those undiscovered talents; protecting our past, present and future legacies.
