Courtney Brooks, Curator- in- Residence for Art on the Atlanta BeltLine presents, Hair Day: A Community Based Braiding Project that focuses on sisterhood and the history of black hair care practices. During this workshop, guests are invited to help create 15 -18 ft long braids made out of chunky yarn for an art installation that will be activated on the Atlanta BeltLine's Southside Trail in March 14th, 2020.

The first workshop was a success at Peter Street Staton on February 1st! Women came out to support and we bonded over the braiding sessions.
I am excited to annouce the final workshop scheduled at Naturalz Hair Salon & Creative Studio on March 1st, 2020 from 2-5pm.
